Night of Lights is an innovative public art exhibit that will transform Chestnut Hill's commercial corridor into an interactive exhibit of local history and architecture, immersing visitors in the ongoing story of the area. On October 4th, historical images and films from the Chestnut Hill Conservancy's Archives will be projected through storefront windows and onto exterior walls. Neighboring buildings along Germantown Avenue will be illuminated with colored lights, while long-time business owners will become interpreters for the evening, sharing stories and engaging the community about their own history. A one of a kind approach to neighborhood history and community storytelling, Night of Lights aims to foster public appreciation and protection of the history and treasures that define the character of the community.

A tour-de-fleur featuring Philadelphia floral designers, flower farmers, and the locally grown flowers and foliage they love. Join us in Fishtown as we partner local businesses with flower farmers and floral designers to create awe-inspiring floral installations all over town! Home Sweet Hood is an annual event hosted by Cohere, a creative agency that specializes in adaptive reuse projects. We created the event to grant access to the unique projects under construction and hear behind the scenes stories from the change makers who are transforming exciting spaces in Philadelphia. 
As part of the 2019 DesignPhiladelphia Festival, guests can enjoy a hard hat tour of the Harbisons Dairy building in Kensington to get a rare tour of the project in its early construction phase and see the well-known milk bottle restoration under way with space activation courtesy of Rohe Creative. To finish off the evening join us at Martha Bar for an exclusive menu sampling and hear the behind the scene story about Martha's successful adaptive reuse.
