This event is for inquisitive people who want to learn more about the intersection of design and health fields. Following a short presentation about the possibilities for design to improve human health, you will work with faculty from Jefferson’s new graduate program in Health Communication Design and undergraduate Graphic Design Communication program in a hands-on workshop. You will discover how to apply design thinking strategies to identify and take actionable steps forward in envisioning a healthier future for Philadelphia by coping with sources of health-related stress. Come ready to have fun, share, and learn about some unexpected ways that design thinking can help to define opportunities and lead to successful solutions in this experience that is all about our great city!
