Picture this: a unique universe with an entire galaxy that is defined by your family! How would the planets look and orbit? What sounds would you hear? What colors would you see? Would it be full of electricity and vibration or calm and quiet? How would your bodies float or move in space? How would you describe your family mythology? These are some of the questions we invite you and your loved-ones to consider at our Family Galaxies program inspired by FWM's exhibition, Jacolby Satterwhite: 'Room for Living.'

Use your imagination and participate in creative hands-on activities such as making avatars, recording a family lyric to be part of collective soundtrack, and designing a unique atmospheric space for your family to live. Children and adults can work together or independently at FWM family programs, but parents must remain with children for the workshop.

Free and open to the public. Recommended ages: 3-12 years. RSVP required for drop-in sessions.
Screen reader support enabled.
