The Pennsylvania East Chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) is based out of Philadelphia, PA and covers Eastern PA from the Lehigh Valley to Harrisburg, Southern New Jersey and Delaware. ASID is the oldest Interior Design Organization in the country and the sole organization that focuses on all sectors of Interior Design from Commercial to Residential.
The PA East Chapter's Annual Celebration is being held on 10.3.19, in the evening at the historic Bourse Building and we will be partnering with the DesignPhiladelphia festival for the event. We will be kicking off our 45th anniversary celebration which includes our Interior Design Awards Competition in May of 2020. Our Annual Celebration evening is a lively event with networking, and a recap the year's past events. Awards are presented for Rising Star and Dedication to the Chapter. The evening features the Board of Directors transition ceremony and surprise entertainment to cap off the evening!
We will also be celebrating the history of the LGBTQ community's impact in the world of Interior Design, throughout the last 50 years with featured Guest Speaker, Designer - Jimmy DeLaurentis. Jimmy is a Philadelphia native with over 25 years of experience, in the design industry. Most recently he launched his James by Jimmy DeLaurentis furniture line which will be featured at the meeting.
